 During its first hundred years, the Housel Bay has attracted guests from far and wide. In its Edwardian heyday, many famous people, including the Prince of Wales, later George V, came to stay and admire the views.The hotel has been extensively refurbished and still retains a relaxed and friendly atmosphere together with an air of period charm. The family style encouraged by owners Freda and Derek Oswald, continues under their daughter Iona and son-in-law Alfred with the same personal attention that has been a long tradition at Housel Bay.
